We have been practising as Chartered Accountants in Coventry for over 50 years providing an excellent and continuous service to all clients in all forms of business from sole traders to large companies. There are even one or two companies that have been with us for the whole of that time although they have, of course, changed direction in that time and have transferred through the generations as well.
We pride ourselves in providing a first class personal service to our clients. We do not have a fixed approach to how we assist our clients, but tailor our services to their specific needs ensuring that they receive, at all times, relevant, accurate and professional advice. This can range from occasional accounting support to full day-to-day involvement in our clients’ businesses in which we manage their whole accounting function.

We manage many compliance matters for you, taking a lot of the strain caused by the continual burden of compliance off your shoulders. Edward Buckworth FCA
Ted is the firm’s senior partner and has been a partner for over 30 years. Ted trained with Grant Thornton and then went to KPMG and after some years in practice in the South of England returned to Coventry to join the practice as a partner.
Ted has extensive experience in the small to medium size business area with clients in many areas of business from the traditional Engineering Businesses to businesses dealing in Selling and Marketing all sorts of services in the current hi-tech world. Ted also deals with many professional clients from various disciplines.
Ted is used to guiding new businesses through the complex legal and accounting requirements of setting up in business.
ASSOCIATES
Stuart Hopkins FCCA
Stuart trained with the practice and qualified with us. Stuart is the practice’s office manager with a lot of experience with the technical aspects of accountancy especially with FSA regulated clients.
Stuart is our star athlete having completed many marathon runs including the London Marathon and the Chicago Marathon.
Craig Randle ACCA
Craig also trained and qualified with the practice and is our client training manager assisting clients to computerise their records onto many different programs. Craig also administers our payroll service to clients.
Craig is a cricketer and can be seen on a Sunday in the season driving his team to successes in the field.
Jennie Buckworth ATT FTA
Jennie has worked with us for many years as a Partner in our data processing arm recently brought into the ambit of our main business. Jennie is qualified as a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians and the Federation of Tax Advisors and is a valuable member of our Tax Team.
Weavers
We are an independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors, based in the Coventry and Warwickshire Area providing a range of audit and accountancy services, tax planning and compliance for Companies and individuals, IHT planning, VAT planning and general business advice.
We have a busy Payroll and bookkeeping bureau which enables clients to outsource these services either on a permanent basis or on a short term basis where staff are ill or on leave.
We offer a proactive service to our clients to address problems before they arise and thus smooth the way forward for the future.
